The Orange County Region is located in Orange County California. The region was formed as a result of the efforts of 17 charter members interested in establishing a local car club dedicated to the preservation of antique automobiles.
Founded in November of 1935, The Antique Automobile Club of America (“AACA”) has established that its aim and purpose is the perpetuation of the pioneer days of automobiling by furthering the interest in and preserving of antique automobiles, and the promotion of sportsmanship and of good fellowship among all AACA members. The AACA uses the term "automobile" in a comprehensive sense to include all self-propelled vehicles intended for passenger use (cars, race vehicles, trucks, fire vehicles, motorcycles, powered bicycles, etc.). Similarly, the term includes various power sources, such as gasoline, diesel, steam and electric. In 2010, the AACA celebrated its 75th anniversary.
The principles of the AACA matched the goals of our charter members and therefore the AACA was selected as the national car club our local club has affiliated with.
Currently our Region Charter is being reviewed by the AACA's National Headquarters for approval. Once approved, this site will be updated with information about our club.
Our club is associated with the All American Originals Invitational Car Show held each May at Enderle Center in Tustin. In fact, the founders of the show are some of the charter members of our club. Click here for more information about the next car show.
